Hello!
For today's random post I thought I'd go through the steps
I take for my 'pamper routine' that I do at least once a week, which is
always on Sunday!
If I can fit another on in mid week then I will.
I just love posts like this and like seeing what products people use.
So let's get in to it!
First I always start off with cleansing my face, as I wasn't removing any make up I
didn't need a cleanser that removed eye makeup, I like to use my Burt's
bees cleansing cream for my skin, it leaves it feeling really clean and refreshed.
after cleansing my skin I like to apply a face mask to really clean my pores.
The one I used is Lovea for oily skin, This is just a mask that I picked up
from feel unique, it's quite good if you don't like that stripped, dry skin feeling
but I like to feel really squeaky clean!
sorry feet haters! -such an awkward photo to take-
I start with my legs and work my way up.
I then wash the scrub off using my original source body wash, I like
the newer ones with oils in as they make your skin really soft and they smell incredible!
Nothing better than an oil infused body wash or bath soak for a pamper night.
I will re-wash myself while in the bath, this is just to get the grit off my skin before shaving.
I then go on to shave using a generic shave gel and my Venus razor. -
side note, I actually prefer men's razors, you get a better shave.
such a weird photo to take yet again!
I know you're thinking 'it's a pamper night, why are you shaving'
but there is no better feeling than smooth legs on clean bedding!
besides it's all within the theme of taking care of your body.
The bath bomb I'm using here is golden wonder from lush
I then like to light my candle/wax burner and relax in the dark!
and also try no to fall asleep, I have done this several times!
Once all relaxed and letting the bath water out I will wet my hair using a jug and
water and lather my Tresemme cleansing shampoo, It's really great for getting
build up like hair spray out, I love this for removing the texturising powder from my hair!
After I've washed my hair twice...
(This is something I learnt when studying hairdressing, you shampoo once to loosen dirt and
the second time to remove it .. that's why you always have shampoo left when you run
out of conditioner!)
.. I then need to put moisture back into my hair as cleansing shampoos are quite stripping.
I like to use a hair mask instead of a conditioner, I much prefer the macadamia one to
the one that I'm currently using but I'm not wasting it.
This one is good, it's just less effective.
It's the 's factor' serious conditioner.
and then it's time to rinse that out!
Once I'm out of the bath I like to use a moisturiser but on pamper night I like something
a little more luxurious! This is where I like to use my Nuxe oil,
it smells incredible and leaves my skin so soft.
I also really like the body shop body butters for this!
I then like to add some 'hair growth serum' to my roots, I apply very little and massage
it in, This has helped my hair grow really strong and it smells incredible!
I also add some macadamia oil to the ends of my hair which also smells incredible and
helps to moisturise my dry ends.
I then like to make myself some kind of beverage and sometimes a snack ;)
If you're going for the whole 'taking care of your body route' then perhaps
ice water with lemon is more appropriate, on this particular night I just
happened to have some iron bru WKD ( a weak alcoholic drink )
This is where I like to play nail salon!
I used Barry m jelly nail polish in 'pomegranate',
opi 'I lily love you' and
some nsi cuticle oil (in a sally hansen bottle as it has a brush)
The oil helps to protect and set the nail polish quicker.
After my nails have dried a bit I like to apply my night time skin care,
this includes my nuxe reve de miel lip balm that tastes like chocolate orange,
my clarins oil for oily skin and loreal revitalift serum.
and then this is where I end up!
In my cosy pj's, fluffy socks and with a film!
So that's my Sunday night pamper routine!
I hope you enjoyed it &
I'd love to know what steps you take to pamper yourself or any tips!

I then go on to exfoliate my body, I like the soap and glory smoothie star which is
also known as the breakfast scrub, it's really abrasive and it smells like
syrup.
I start with my legs and work my way up.

I then rinse out the bath tub as it will have bits of exfoliator and shave gel in it,
I like to do that part before my bath so I'm not sat in hair, sweat and exfoliator,
but if you prefer to soak in the bath and then shave as it helps to soften the hair and
open the pores then you do as you wish!
After rinsing the bath I fill it up ready for bath bomb time.
