NEW Original Source skin quench shower gels & body scrub review.

Hello!
Today's review is of something a bit out the ordinary for me,
body washes and a body scrub... and not pricey ones at that!
Today I'm reviewing three shower gels and a body scrub from the new
original source skin quench line.

Just a quick disclaimer, I bought all products with my own money,
the company doesn't know I'm reviewing these & I'm not paid for it.

£2.70 - individual links below.

It was the scents that primarily interested me with these body washes and
the scrub.
Then it was realising that they contained natural oils and retained moisture that
sold me on buying them.
I bought the 'watermelon and  jojoba oil'  body wash,
the 'peach and apricot oil'  body wash,
the 'pineapple and coconut oil'  body wash and
 the 'blood orange'  body scrub.
There are two other products in this line that I didn't buy, a tea tree body scrub and

All these products contain natural oils and are naturally scented.
They're 100% natural, vegan, not tested on animals and made in the UK.
I'm a HUGE fan of the regular original source line, they're well priced,
smell incredible and they do the job.
some of my other favourites include the lemon body wash lime body wash and
raspberry and vanilla (that one smells like milkshake).

Due to loving the old versions, the new additions were for sure an exciting
launch in my eyes.
I must stress before I get into this review that when I first smelt the
products (when my online order arrived) I wasn't as impressed as when I used them
in the shower - once mixed with water and lathered they smell stronger and fresher.
I was most excited for the scrub so I'll start with that

Blood orange daily body scrub 250ml - £2.70  - link
I loooove blood orange scents, so this was a must have for me, especially
as it's a daily scrub and it can basically be used as a body wash with added scrubby
pieces.
This product smells like fresh orange juice, it's super zingy and refreshing, a good choice for morning use to wake you up!
It contains little scrubby pieces that are not harsh in the slightest so you can use this daily,
It's not a heavy duty exfoliator so not one to use before tanning or on extra rough bits.
I wouldn't purchase it for it's scrubbing qualities but more for the scent and to use it like a shower gel.
I'd say this is my favourite of the bunch for the smell but it does feel nice to use and leaves you very clean feeling and fresh.
As stated above, once mixed with water and lathered the smell seems to explode as opposed to just smelling it in the tube.

Peach & Apricot oil body wash 250ml - £2.70 - link
This is my next most used tube, I had to try them all at least once as I was way too excited.
This does smell kind of peachy but at the same time it also smells like 'twister' lollies which are my favourite! (I do believe them to be lime and strawberry flavour though?)
It's super fruity and tropical smelling and it contains little particles which are referred to as 'soft oil beads' but you don't notice them while washing yourself.
I do find my skin feels softer after using this body wash and the smell lingers on my skin, making it sweet and tropical.
This would be a great holiday body wash, it would moisturise to keep your tan and make you smell fruity!
my skin doesn't have that body buttered feel to it afterwards but it does feel soft and clean, although these are infused with oils, there is no residue afterwards.

Watermelon & Jojoba oil body wash 250ml - £2.70 - link
I thought I'd really love this one, more so than the others as I'm obsessed with watermelon, but although all the products are naturally scented this smells a little more synthetic than the others, not sure how that's possible.
It may be that the jojoba oil takes away from the watermelon scent but it's very subtle and watered down smelling, I'd hoped for a fresh, powerful, watermelon kick from this body wash so I was left sort of disappointed.
If I wasn't comparing it to my expectations then yes, it's still a nice body wash and it does smell good.
It's the same as stated above with the soft oil beads and it leaves my skin feeling soft.
The only difference is this one doesn't linger on the skin the same and isn't as strong scented which is a shame, I was really hoping for this one to come out on top but it wasn't overly special.
( c'mon original source, less of the jojoba and more of the watermelon... yours truly, insane woman that desires to smell like a melon.)

Pineapple & Coconut oil body wash 250ml - £2.70 - link
Last but not least we have another body wash, on first sniff it smells like the 'old school' pineapple gel pens but once lathered in the shower it is super pineapple-y scented,
I can't specifically smell coconut but it does smell tropical, although it's not the same as the peach and apricot body wash, this is surely leaning more towards fresh pineapple.
This is another that I'd take on holiday, it's moisturising and lingers on my skin smelling of sweet, fresh pineapple.
It contains soft oil beads that I can't feel in the shower but my skin does feel soft when I jump out and as it is a fresh scent, again it leaves you very fresh and clean feeling.

Overall I reallllllyyyy like these body washes and the scrub!
I would repurchase all of them except the watermelon scented one,
as I said it's just not scented enough for me but I truly love the others
and they will now be staples in my bathroom.
Although they do have soft oil beads and natural oils in these
products, none of them leave a residue.
They are moisturising, smell yummy and are 100% worth the price,
they're only £2.70 at full price and a lot of the time this brand is on offer.
The company morals are great and it doesn't harm animals to use these!
These are sold at boots, superdrug and supermarkets such as asda and sainsburys .
