Friday beauty tip. #4

Hello!
Welcome back to week four of my Friday beauty tip!
It's just a quick one today
This week I'm going to be talking about hand sanitiser..
it sounds like an odd thing to use in a beauty emergency!
But if you're interested then keep reading!

So what could you possibly do with hand sanitiser you wonder?
well there are two things.

firstly I wouldn't recommend this unless you are desperate,
but if you have incredibly oily skin throughout the day and you have
nothing to wipe your face with ..then a tiny bit of hand sanitiser can soak up the oil
and the alcohol in it will kill bacteria so if you want to apply face powder then you
won't get a tonne of oil in your face powder.
I have tried this before applying make up and it did in fact stop my face
from being as oily as usual.
-Do not get this near your eyes!-
The only downside to this is that it is drying and it is alcohol
so it's quite stripping to your skin.
Although not great for day to day use, if you have an occasion that
you desperately need to control that excess oil or you have nothing else,
then a scent free, plain hand sanitiser can really help!

Second use for this product is also down to being oily...
OR sweaty.
This is a great emergency product for if you have no deodorant.
This could be if you start to sweat at work and have no spray on you.
Firstly wipe down any excess sweat and then apply some hand sanitiser,
Let this dry (it dries quickly)
and then resume as you normally would.
You may not get a whole day sweat free from this but in an emergency
it can be a life saver!
It is mostly alcohol so it kills bacteria.. the thing that makes sweat smell!
It's also drying so it helps to dry out your armpit area so it's not
sweaty!
This method can be done using scented hand sanitiser, this kind of adds
to the effect.
I would recommend washing your underarms and applying something
like a dove deodorant when you get home to help put some moisture back
into your skin.

Well I hope this was helpful!
 &
Thanks for reading!
