This week was incredibly boring for me sadly, I didn't get
to dress up and celebrate new years and I've been on bed rest a lot
of the time, I'm literally counting the days until I can leave the house &
also to drive again!
But if you are interested non the less then this is what I got
up to this week.

It started out super frosty in the north of England this week, I went for some fresh air in
the garden, it was so pretty with frost acting like a glitter coating! - still no snow for me though!

one of my Christmas presents that I longed to crack open this week; I spent a lot
of time in Greece growing up and I remember this from my childhood.
my dad used to give me some in a shot glass for me to sip through the entire night ha ha,
I buy myself a bottle every year and occasionally have a sip just for the memories
but this year my mum bought me a bottle for Christmas. - I did eventually cave and
open it one night when my tablets had worn off.

I didn't ask for much this year but I did receive a large amount of money from
my mum & £20 from my grandma so I combined the two and made a lush order and
did some other online shopping.
I'm glad I got to take advantage of the lush sales as I love their Christmas products.
This was a lovely late Christmas gift to receive, especially while spending my days in bed.
There were also some yuzu and cocoa on sale which I was thrilled about as they're one
of my absolute faves.
In total I think I bought around 48-49 items and I received four lush products
on Christmas day so all in all I'm ecstatic!
I feel incredibly blessed and I have no excuse for not smelling great!
I had to wrap them individually as lush bath bombs don't come wrapped.

"did you say you're having a bath mum?" aha, he loves the sound of running water
and you can always bet that he will appear when you run the tap.
I was so excited to crack into my bath bomb stash so I started with a favourite from
last year, 'shoot for the stars' bath bomb, it looks like an oil spill!
Okay, so I know I said I wanted to eat healthier this year but technically I did,
as this was new years eve... I love Chinese food and it's very rare that I get
it due to my fave containing meat & i'm trying to go veggie.
There were no regrets here.
In terms of eating healthier I mean less junk food, I'm not going to be all super health
conscious but instead of eating mc donalds for a snack I'll get something from my fridge and
make a conscious effort to not fill myself with rubbish.
Happy new year! I took this after drinking half the glass and it no longer looked
bubbly haha! I stayed in on new years and watched TV with two victims who
were kind enough to stick with me. I actually missed the countdown and only realised
it was new year at two minutes past 12... oops! I also didn't take my tablets
before bed as I can't drink on those, oh well it's new years right?

haha, I didn't eat all of new years day and then at the end of the night
I caved and bought garlic bread and cheesy chips (they look tragic!)
food, food & more food!
I was really craving some nachos and salsa this week so that is exactly
what I made... yes I did leave them under the grill for a few minutes extra
hence the burnt bit (that's the best bit, it was no accident!)
I did some online shopping at superdrug... despite them missing a lip liner
out of my order and then not responding to me when I contact them, I picked out
a few make up bits along with toothpaste and other thrilling buys.
How weird is the shape of this loreal eyeshadow?
It's stunning when swatched though!
& I can't wait to play with this! it's a Barry m pigment which is black but looks
like some super sparkly purple galaxy in one light and it goes greeny blue sparkly in
another light, it's amazing. I think the name is 'petrol black'

and finally, how cute are these shoes?
I wanted them for ages and I was waiting for pay day... but they sold out!
They're right up my street and I love anything glittery and would risk looking
tacky just to be covered in it.
My mum came home today after I'd explained that they only had a size 6 online
and they'd now gone in the sale so I'd never get them...
She however went into new look and asked and they had them on sale in store
in a size 5! yay.. I'd of paid full price for these babies as they weren't expensive
and I love them.

So that was my week, I spent most of it in bed sadly, I'm still taking a
course of tablets that end on Tuesday but in all honesty they just wipe me out.
Although I didn't 'do' much I still had an amazing week spending time
with loved ones on new years who were kind enough to sit in with me &
opening my lush goodies that I got with my Christmas money!
A pretty good week considering!
