Friday beauty tip. #2

Hello!
Welcome back for week two of my Friday beauty tip!
This week I have a quick tip for getting foundation/stains out of your make up brushes!
So if you're interested then keep reading below!
First I dip my brushes into warm water to loosen some of the foundation.
I then warm some oil in my hand, my personal favourite is coconut oil as it's good
for the skin so I know using it on my brushes and then on my face wont do my
skin any harm or break me out.
I then swirl my brush around in the oil and get it deep into the bristles.
I then squeeze the bristles and pull upwards which removes huge amounts of foundation,
I do this several times by dipping the brush in water and then squeezing the foundation out.
As you can see it got a lot of the gunk out of the brush, it's floating on the water in the background!
Now you're left with an oily/greasy brush...
This is where I like to take a face wash (yet again I know face wash wont harm my face
or break me out)
My favourite being this Garnier one, it just seems to clean all the oil & gunk off the brushes.
I squeeze some onto my hand and swirl the damp brush into it
I then rinse the brush and repeat the last step with the garnier face wash again,
you may have to do this
two or three times to get rid of the oily residue.
and as you can see my brush is now squeaky clean and ready to dry overnight.
Here are two other examples -  a stained blusher brush & a powder foundation brush
& here are the after photos!
As you can see it leaves your brushes super clean and if you've made sure
to remove all the oil they will not dry greasy, if they do then just wash them again as you haven't removed it properly.

Well I hope this was helpful!

Thanks for reading!
